First, there is zero odor. Second-holy heck! My dog went through a very tough day yesterday and was very upset when I got home. She was shaking and trembling and would not leave my side. I plugged this in next to her bed. She went over to the outlet, took a sniff, laid down and was resting peacefully within five minutes. It was like magic. Fingers crossed for long-term help. I am taking other measures to help her with her separation anxiety and I do not think this is a cure, but I do expect it to be part of a collection of things, practices and habits I will utilize to support her emotional health.

I love this product!!! I have a Great Dane with really bad anxiety. He paces and barks non stop. Drives me crazy. As soon as I put this collar and plug in the diffuser he was almost instantly calm. I have tried everything from prescription medication to cbd oils. Nothing helped. My vet told me about this product. I had my doubts because nothing else had helped. Upon putting these products on I have not heard him bark or pace. I feel like he is finally at peace.

I’m have a hard time understanding why this thing helps my dog, but he doesn’t tear the house to shreds when I leave him home. He had terrible separation anxiety and now he doesn’t even look at me as I walk out the door. It took a few stressful weeks but I’m glad I tried it. It was an answer to my prayers.

This works wonders! I have a dog who has very bad separation anxiety. Before I used this (coupled with a white noise machine) my dog would shake uncontrollably before I went to work. This seems to make him calm and relaxed. I put it in the living room where they are while I am gone.

You would not even believe the difference. Must try product. I’m ordering like a million refills. My pup is still playing and on the go! High energy dog, but not the nervous energy! Best product ever!

We adopted an year old Papillion in November, and in March he was still pretty out of control. Calmers aren't usually good except for relocations, so I didn't know what to expect. He is still a nervous ninny (but we love him), but he is able to sleep soundly in whatever room this diffuse is in. He had started his nervous growling and barking at every noise outside a few days ago. I checked the diffuser and it was empty. Ordered refills and he's a calmer doggy now. I wish it were a little less expensive.

I bought this because my male dogs would not stop marking their territory even though they’re both neutered. And then my girls would think it was okay to pee around the same areas (or maybe they were marking too). I’ve tried vinegar, bleach, enzymatic cleaners, and nothing would stop them until I plugged this in. Not one tiny mark since I got it!

I was skeptical at first as I didn't think this would work but I am no longer a skeptical. We put them in the three main rooms our dog would go in and it has made a huge difference in her. She has calmed down and much of her anxiety has been relieved.

This product has been great for my French bulldog and her anxiety. It is bulky to plug in so had to find its own area to plug it in. I can’t smell it but it is keeping my dog calm. I recommend this product if your dog having separation anxiety or needs to chill out for a while. I will see how long it last and will rate it then for the price. It comes with the plug in part and the liquid diffuser.

This thing is a life saver. I have a 1.3 yr rescue toy poodle who was never trained. He has separation anxiety. freaks out every time we put him in the crate. When it’s time for bed he cries for hours in his crate or any other time we do crate time. I think his former owners use the crate as punishment. With my trainer’s recommendation I initially bought the diffuser and then returned it because I didn’t think there was a difference. Boy way I wrong! The three days I didn’t have the diffuser it was a nightmare he cried nonstop all night long. So I ordered it I received it the very next day life is good again

My boxer has always been anxious. It has led to behaviors like tearing up her beds and swallowing rocks which she would then throw up. Since I started using this product 3 months ago she had not had any instances of either behavior. She also seems more relaxed.

My red heeler has a troubled party from before I got her.. she's typically afraid and eats poop outside cuz of stress. Unable to get her to stop eating poop any other way, I got this and she immediately had no interest in eating it again. Since my first one ran out, she's back to her old habits. I had purchased this diffuser for an anxious foster that I have but, besides the foster, the diffuser seems to have worked on 2 of my rescues too. They're both seniors, the female has always been the bossy one and the male, who is hearing and sight impaired has been a velcro dog because of his impairments. The anxious dog has calmed down, the bossy mean girl has gotten milder and the impaired dog is still clingy but not as much. I'd say the diffuser has served its purpose and I'll continue to use it.

My vet recommended this for my greyhound who is extremely anxious and when she is left at home, to the point of drooling on the door of her cage. She is also afraid of thunderstorms. I also have 3 Chihuahua who lick my furniture. I did not have the little dogs in mind when I purchased this product. However, the first day I began to notice the little dogs were not licking the furniture. The next day I worked, no drool pool at home the door of my greyhound's cage. Last week my refill arrived on the same day as our first thunderstorm of the spring. My greyhound started to get anxious, then fell asleep on her bed. I don't understand how it works but it really does work!

We purchased this product on a recommendation from my brother. At first we weren't sure if it was having an effect,, but We found that our smallest chihuahua was less anxiety ridden when it stormed. That alone was worth the purchase. Overall our 4 dogs seem calmer and more content. I am ordering refills today.

Have a jealous dog of the new 2 dogs. It seems to help. You can tell when the bottle is empty because the jealous dog gets very grumpy. This is what the Vet recommended.

We plugged this in , and here we are not even a week later and our Beagle has decreased in Barking at everything! He would bark at the wind ..for crying out loud ! Wits end had me looking at I found this product !! Separation anxiety was through the roof ..well now he chills when we leave and we get home ..he nods like “what’s up” ! LOL wonderful product !! (Not always gonna work with all dogs I’m sure ..) but our Beagle (Rocco) is a different dog now!!

I think this should be cheaper however it helps my dog with anxiety so worth it has no smell that humans can smell. Need to get full kit every six months as it starts to get goopy after that time so need to replace the plug in. Makes the dog happy though so it’s worth the money

I'm not the type to think about using hormones on my dog. He became very stressed during my husband being gone 5 days each week for the academy for 6 months. Our dog began ingesting foreign items on a regular basis. At the vet, they sprayed a little of this on a bandana for him. He went from drooling & pacing to lying placid at my feet. They recommended a wall plug in for him just to get us through the academy. It has no scent a human can smell. It leaves no clean up. And my dog was much happier & easier to manage. We use it during car trips or anything stress inducing, but turn it off most days so it isn't his "normal".

This product actually worked for my dogs. They are usually a mess during thunderstorms and fireworks. But this product actually keeps them calm.

We just brought home at 16 week puppy last week and began crate training. Let's just say, it wasn't going well. She would bark and pant while exhibiting other clear signs of stress. When she does quiet down, she wouldn't even take treats due to the stress. Decided to give this a go and WOW. while she still barks, its only for about 5-10 minutes (vs. hours) and for the first time today, she fell asleep in the crate!! Hopefully she'll get adjusted to her new home first but I am definitely happy I've found this product.

I was pretty iffy about this, but it really seems to be working for my 13 year old Shih Tzu! She's not barking as much when we aren't home and her appetite has drastically improved. I now think that she was ridden with anxiety instead of just being a picky eater because she's eating much more in this calmer state.

We have an 11 week old Malusky pup and he whines allllllllll the time while Kennel training but using and keeping this next to his kennel helps and does allow him to calm down some and sleep before getting up and whining again. This is one of those products that you really hope works and is not just a gimmick. It took about 1-2 months to settle in but I can definitely notice a total difference in the behavior of my 3 dogs. Item seems to help keep my puppy calmer during bedtime and lets her sleep through the night. However the box was crushed during delivery and some of the liquid spilled out into the plastic shipping baggie.

I adopted an older dog who was petrified of human contact. I was desperate for advice and my Vet told me about this. After only two Days my dog became calmer and less stressed. I was able to approach her without her running away in fear. She now is calmer and happier, noticeably less fearful and adjusting. I made sure to follow the directions. Luckily she liked to sleep in a chair next to the outlet. Now she cuddles with me on the sofa! I never thought that would happen.

It really works, however was supposed to last a month and it lasted just for 2 weeks and half.

Our new rescue corgi (4 yrs old) was high-strung, to say the least. He's still a bit much at times (which I'm sure is just him) but since we got this, he's calmed down a lot and seems generally happier. I'm thrilled with the changes we've observed.

This product is amazing. It s helped my dogs cope w/ losing a sibling. That said, after approx 1 weeks use I am having a severe allergic reaction. Therefore, if you are REMOTELY sensitive to plug ins this product is NOT for you. Unfortunate for me, since the adaptil plug in has been quite effective in reducing my dogs stress. Had I not developed an allergic reaction I would have rated the product 5 star.

I bought this product to help keep my dog calm after a particular medical treatment. I saw a difference in him in less than a week. I highly recommend this and considering purchasing it again for the second floor of my home.

I’m happy to report this has had a subtle calming effect of my anxious, “hyped” Akita + Great Dane mix! While he still gets excited when someone comes to the door, he *does calm down easier and sooner.

We got this due to having to move and one of our dogs had to stay at my mother's house for a few weeks while everything was in process. Puppy sleeps thru the night with this! Not a peep! A must have especially when crate training a new pup.

I initially thought what a waste of money. However two days later I realized my dog was always laying next to the plug-in. He seems to be less anxious when it’s plugged in.

So far it has been 4 days with thos diffuser. I am pleased. My pups are large and destructive but since plugging this in, they have relaxed significantly. While the separation anxiety is still present, it is now more manageable with this product coupled with other coping strategies. I want another one for the rest of the house!

Works great for my dogs. I work in the vet industry and have not been in a clinic that doesn’t recommend this product. You need to make sure you have enough diffusers to cover the size of space.

I plug this in next to my puppies pen on all work days. She sleeps most all day as I spy on her with our security cam. So it apparently seems to keep her chilled.

So, i've gotten this a few times, and specifically for events where i know it will be stressful for the dog. When we visit other people's houses i'll bring it along to plug in for my dog, or when other people come to visit us. It certainly works, since whenever it's in, it calms my dog so much that she sleeps the majority of the time.

Our 12 yo cairn terrier is terrified of fireworks. We put a pheromone collar on him and used 2 diffusers-1 in the living room where he is during the day and 1 in the bedroom. Because we also used some calming drops, can’t say for positive this works, but the combination of all certainly did. We will use again

I’m not sure what all of these reviews were but I was desperate for sleep because of my two month puppy always barking to be with my and my boyfriend. SURPRISINGLY ENOUGH THID THING WORKED AND HE SLEPT THROUGH THR WHOLE NIGHT. That’s basically it, it does it’s thing. It’s the first night I got sleep and so I’ll monitor it’s effect / if their is any ‘burning’ but other then that. It works magic

We loved this and thought it would really help with our reactive dog. She's highly obedient, but she has a lot of anxiety. Well, it was fine for about 45 days and then it started smoking up on us. Were gonna try one more but it is pretty disappointing.

I was skeptical about this collar because of the price, It has been about a month since I put it on Buddy and I have not seen a flea or tick on him since, plus he had a bad case of red inflamed belly skin and constant ear scratching that has cleared up, probably caused by some kind of mite. He is very active, roaming all night on our acreage and swimming in the pond all the time. I was using topical drops, but they seemed to have no effect. Even it only lasts a couple of months instead of the claimed 8 months i would say it is worth the cost.
