I used disposable gloves to put on the collar and cut it to size. Very paranoid about insecticides. Took my pet to Fire Island for a few beach days. There are lots of deer and therefore deer ticks. I have previously caught Lyme's disease out there. My pet is a blind chihuahua, 13 years now, blind since he was 2 1/2. Last thing he or I need is Lyme's disease.

I think it is a very good product. I purchased it twice for my dog, because it's been working very good on her from when we started to use it! Also, the price is one of the best that I found on Amazon considering the type of product and the quality.

I have a dog who is a bit sensitive to other flea collars and loves the beach. I started using this flea collar and he stopped scratching! We'll see how it handles for the duration, but I'm happy so far with the SOBAKEN flea collar.

These collars are widely regarded as the best protection among hunter in tick country whose dogs spend a lot of time in the woods and fields. I went from dealing with ticks to picking off a dead one a couple time per year. No adverse reaction, just a category killing product.

I have a Doberman and a Chiwinnie. Neither one had any type of reaction or issues with this product and they have been wearing them for about 3 weeks now...Haven't seen a tick or flea on either and they go in and outside all day. I live in south Alabama where its hot and humid where fleas and ticks are a big issue....just watch your pet the first few days to make sure they don't have a adverse reaction to it..

These collars work great. We live where ticks abound. Too bad we don’t have something we could wear outside. The people in my family get bit by ticks but not my dogs. I have been using these for years and they work!

My pitbull mix always broke out with any other flea medicine and he was constantly itching, my other two dogs, English bulldog and a blue heeler weren’t itching anymore but he just kept itching! Although there were very mixed reviews on ALL flea collars, I decided to give this one a try and within a couple days the itching completely stopped, he didn’t break out in a rash anymore! No more fleas! It’s amazing.

We live near the Adirondack mountains so in spring and summer the ticks are atrocious. We switched our border collie to a flea and tick shampoo last year and skipped the pricey seresto for the first time in our sweet girls life and it was a huge mistake. We found something like 15 ticks on her throughout the year. Never never never have we ever found one on her while using seresto collars. Our poor girl. Well needless to say we went back for this spring and summer season. These collars are great but cost prohibitive. We can justify the extra expenditure because it's cheaper than a vet visit but it's a tough pill to swallow that's for sure.

We live in a rural area on a farm and have ticks and fleas from strays. These collars work and last for many months. I replace mine twice a year and so far my dogs and cat have no fleas and no ticks. I was skeptical but I’ve used them for 2 years now and i am very pleased. No smell.

I have used for a number of years on my dogs and have never seen a flea or tick. It is usually in April or May that I will put them on, depending on the weather. I am very pleased they last all season long.

I like the collars because they last eight months and you don’t have to worry about your dog taking a swim because they are water resistant. I have used this product for several years on all of my dogs. Great Dane, Doberdane, Doberman, Beagles

It killed and kept away the fleas and ticks. It didn't seem to bother my dog. I wish they had a length as to how long it was. I had to buy the large due to my dogs fat neck. This was highly recommended by my groomer. Love it.

It did seem to work well for a while! The only issue was it had a pretty noticeable repellent smell for a few days.

I bought this collar as a preventative method in case she got fleas cause I noticed her scratching. I had it on her for months and nothing was there. I’d say it was successful.

Ever since my German Shepherd (who since passed), had a negative reaction to internal tick meds, I promised her and my current German Shepherd "never again". I tried other natural products but none worked as effectively as Sobaken.

No complaints awesome hammock. Ive hung it all over. Havent had a rip yet. I would strongly suggest this product to anyone. Also make sure to get the python straps. An your set to hammock wherever you well please!

I like the fact that it's all natural without harmful chemicals. Even my babies did not mind wearing it. Seems like they are enjoying it. I don't see them scratch lately after using the collar. And no more alarms set for the every month flea dose for 8 months. That's the convenience of using this collar. No more hassles of that strong chemical smell from flea doses. We live in the country so let's wait and see if it really last for 8 months which I'm sure it will because one of my babies is a home buddy, doesn't go out too often unlike her big sister who loves to hang out with me when I work in the farm. But from the good reviews and testimonies, I trust it will work.

I like this collar. It works great! I bought it last year for my dog. Before using it, I would find ticks almost every time we went to the park. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. My dog was wearing it for last spring and summer and no ticks since then. I am very satisfied. I am buying it again this year. I just got this collar but so far so good! It has a nice natural smell similar to citronella. The instructions were clear and easy to use. I just buckled the collar on her neck and cut off the extra. My puppy seems comfortable and doesn’t seem to mind. I don’t know how effective it is yet because we haven’t taken her hiking yet but as I said so good so good for the value.

My Siamese LOVE this toy. At first it took him a bit to get used to. But within a week, it was all fun. Now we take it even if were traveling. It's Symba's favorite toy ever !! He plays in it, sometimes he just hangs out in it. He'll hide from his brother for a moment. It's made of high-quality and he's never been able to puncture it. My cats have all their claws. When I purchased this collar my fur baby had fleas and I put that collar on her and it destroyed the fleas on her and she hasn’t had a problem since. We’ve tried other collars and nothing helped but this collar has! I will be getting this collar from now on.

Best collar ever. My dogs hike, run, and play in the woods and fields. I have not found 1 tick on them since using this collar. The smell is great. Water doesn’t slow down it’s performance . And so many of my friends now use this protection on their dogs.

Bought this for my dog after learning that Seresto has a lot of chemicals in it. Hoping that the natural ingredients will be better for my dog. A little too early to tell if it's working, but hopefully it does.

I’ve used these collars for years on multiple dogs. I have beagles & labs that are always in the woods & bathe them more than once a month & they swim in the summer. All of their blood tests are negative and I’ve never found a flea. A few things that I’ve found to work - I leave the collar a little loose & don’t use the reflective locks (making it too tight can cause skin reaction) & I remove the collars nightly over dogs head (If u leave on too long can also cause reaction & my dogs sleep in our bed so I felt better not having the collars on while sleeping) I also remove collar while bathing or swimming. I also believe that Instead of trimming off the excess collar u should keep it tucked into the loops (this allows a little xtra medicine to be present while wearing & these collars shrink over time). Finally I change collars around every 4 months. The earlier version of the collars came with small print saying that tick protection was only good for 4 months. Now they seem to have removed that but the ingredients haven’t changed so I I’ll stick with better safe than sorry, it only takes 1 bite. When I left collar on my lab for extended time his neck broke out in a rash, after removing nightly it went away. Just wanted to give my experiences b/c these collars are a great alternative to what’s out there, they do work, and sometimes u need to tweak the manufacturers recommendations to make the product work for u. My vet told me years ago about the Bayer collars. They were designed for the German police dogs and also used by the German military dogs. Living in humid Arkansas we not only have fleas but also ticks. It is especially bad this year since I live where it has been flooded for months. Sometimes I find a tick on a dog but it is always dried up and just hanging in the hair. Since I have been using them I have not found any fleas on a dog. I keep a calendar for the collars and heartworm meds and always check the dogs at 7 months, but so far they have lasted for the full 8 months. Since I have 8 dogs I buy one every few months to spread out the cost. But figuring that what you pay for a collar and divide it by 8, it is totally reasonable. And they have a clever way of hooking together on the dog. So far, after using them for many years, I have never had a dog lose one. The collars have no odor whatsoever. A couple of the dogs need to be groomed and the groomer never takes the collar off and I've had no problem with the collar giving out early. I also have a dog that goes into the kiddy pool almost on a daily basis in the summer, and again, the collar still lasts for the 8 months.

We have never dealt with fleas ever we are out in the middle of the woods and my dogs do not go anywhere outside of our 1 acre fenced in backyard. We had family come in town with their puppy that they take to dog parks. I assume the dog brought a couple fleas with it and jumped on our puppies from there I have spent two years trying everything having our house sprayed our yard sprayed putting out granules every few weeks anything and everything to avoid and attempt to get rid of these fleas but we could not do anything . I reached out to a friend of mine who is an avid hunter He said these collars or what he puts on his dogs and to “trust him” and I’m glad I did and wish I had asked him about it two years ago when this started I could’ve saved a whole lot of money and my dogs would not have lost so much hair in the time being and stress of chewing. These colors are amazing I cannot say enough good things about it

We lived in the country for years and went through several tick seasons using a variety of product with marginal success. We were always picking off attached ticks, some alive, some dead after attaching. This is after trying all of the name brand liquid type products. This occurred on a daily basis until seresto. In a heavy tick season not a single tick was found attached to our dog. We were amazed as we picked at least 1 tick a day off the dog the year before and several before making the switch to Sobaken it works well and this will be our product of choice until something even better comes along. I should also admit that I am an entomologist so ticks were definitely harmed in the making of this review.
